On Thursday 5th July London’s historic diamond district hosted the 2018 Hatton Garden Party – with pop-up markets and poets, jugglers, jewellers and fizz.
When Hatton Garden BID engaged us in April to establish and amplify its brand voice, the team flagged the July Garden Party as a key opportunity. While they had organised similar events in the past, the 2018 edition was set to be bigger and better, with a reimagined format focused on encouraging local employees and residents to get out and about exploring the area.
Over five weeks we ran our Ditch your desk & discover the Garden campaign across social media and in the press – generating a 13% increase in Twitter followers and 2.8% engagement rate with content posted on the day; a 531% increase in Facebook engagement compared to the previous month; and over 500 Instagram engagements during event week. Our digital toolkit enabled local businesses to get behind the BID and contribute to the 195 click throughs the Facebook event page enjoyed.
