Guest speakers included STAMP’s Janet Morris who told us everything that we didn’t know about this wonderful area, Gareth Miles from the Old Operating Theatre who demonstrated what would happen if you ever caught your arm in heavy Victorian machinery and The Southwark Brewery’s own Peter Jackson who gave us the low-down on the area’s long and proud brewing connections.
