Account Manager

Contract:
Full-time, Onsite

Salary:
£35k, dependent on experience

Wanted: A bright, committed and enthusiastic account manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of projects and build lasting relationships with our clients.

About us
Curious and collaborative, we’re here to start conversations, encourage connections and help brands – and people – feel good about themselves. A dedicated team of designers, writers, strategists, filmmakers and social media specialists, we work extensively in the destination marketing and higher education sectors. Our clients include: Better Bankside, London Bridge City, Cheapside, WeAreWaterloo, Royal Academy of Dance, UCL and City, University of London.

We love what we do – and where we do it. We now need a dedicated and dynamic account manager to work with our clients and help shape the future of Hudson Fuggle.

About the role
A key link between our clients and the studio, you’ll oversee an exciting portfolio of accounts – paying meticulous attention to detail and juggling your day-to-day tasks with ease. You’ll receive client briefs, plan projects and work closely with those around you to ensure that we always deliver exceptional work to budget and on time. You’ll also actively seek out opportunities to win new or repeat business and referrals from the accounts you manage.

A clear and confident communicator, you’ll be comfortable with a hands-on, client-facing role and enjoy building successful relationships both internally and externally. Calm under pressure, you’ll be a strong team player – able to take direction and collaborate, but also work on your own initiative.

As this is a new role for Hudson Fuggle, there is ample opportunity for you to make it your own, supported by the robust account management processes that underpin the business.

At least three years’ experience of working in a creative agency or studio is preferable.

Key responsibilities
While no two days are the same at Hudson Fuggle, our account manager’s key areas of focus includes:

  • Liaising with clients to ensure the smooth running of projects, campaigns and
    accounts
  • Taking detailed briefs from clients – managing expectations, while also identifying
opportunities to build on their ideas
  • Working with the directors and studio manager to produce accurate estimates and production schedules through to client sign off
  • In collaboration with the directors, briefing client projects into the studio and
ensuring that work is delivered to deadline, budget and client satisfaction
  • Attending regular work-in-progress meetings, both internal and external, and completing accurate contact reports
  • Working with the studio manager and directors to ensure that completed work is billed on time
  • Hosting post-project reviews with both the client and the studio
  • Proactively seeking out opportunities to win new or repeat business and referrals from the accounts you manage
  • Supporting the directors in producing and, where appropriate, presenting pitches and tenders
  • Attending client and business development events as required
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records on our CRM system, Synergist
  • Any other reasonable duties as required by the directors.

  • Organised – able to multitask and prioritise to meet competing deadlines
  • Practical – with a knack for fuss-free problem solving
  • Flexible – able to work in a smart and focused way, but also be open to change
  • Hands-0n – willing to get stuck into the wide range of tasks involved in this role
